Aerial imagery pixel and age check
How many pixels cross a roof feature, and how old the image is.
A design aid. Pixel size and capture date come from you. The presets are the worked example on the aerial imagery page: sizes, the 4-pixel threshold and the 24-month limit are our placeholders, not standards. Pixels are not accuracy.
| Result | Value |
|---|---|
| Pixels across the feature | - |
| Readable at the pixel threshold? | - |
| Coarsest pixel size that still gives the threshold | - |
| One pixel as a share of the feature | - |
| Image age at the check date | - |
| Older than the re-check limit? | - |
Age = days between the dates divided by 30.4375, to one decimal. Pixel size is the ground distance one pixel covers. Check roof pitch and edges on site.
