Work-order log calculator
Paste repair events from your CMMS export. It returns four MTTR figures, device availability and a spares count.
A design aid, not a guarantee calculation. The preset log is invented (12 repairs, 40 inverters). Availability here is time-based over all hours of the period. Contract availability definitions differ; see the O&M page.
| Result | Value |
|---|---|
| Repair events | - |
| Time to repair: start to end of repair (h) | - |
| Time to respond: alarm to repair start (h) | - |
| Time to recover: failure to back in service (h) | - |
| Time to resolve: ticket opened to closed (h) | - |
| Mean response, acknowledgement plus travel (h) | - |
| Events within the response target | - |
| MTBF per device (h) | - |
| Inherent availability, MTBF ÷ (MTBF + repair time) | - |
| Operational availability, failure to back in service | - |
| Share of downtime hours spent waiting for parts | - |
| Mean demand for spares during one lead time | - |
| Spares to hold for the cover target | - |
| Chance of a stock-out in one lead time with that stock | - |
Method: each mean is the average over the pasted events. Inherent availability uses repair time only, as the Reliamag guide defines it. Operational availability sums failure-to-recovery hours over devices times period. Spares use a Poisson count of failures during one lead time, with the failure rate scaled to a year; it assumes independent failures. One year of data is a thin basis for MTBF.
