Crew size, capacity and credential check
Part 1 compares crew sizes for one job type. Part 2 checks which credentials are valid on a job date.
A planning check, not a schedule. The loaded examples are invented: a 48-hour install, an 8-hour paid day, 80% productive share, 42 USD per paid hour, 20 jobs a month, and eight credential records. Money is in one currency of your choice.
Part 1: crew size and capacity
| Crew size | Exact days | Days booked | Paid hours per job | Cost per job | Productive share of paid hours | Crews needed (leftover time reused) | Crews needed (whole days) | People (whole days) |
|---|
Exact days = job hours / (crew size x paid hours x productive share). Days booked rounds up to whole days. Crews needed = jobs x days / (working days x (1 - lost days)), rounded up. "Leftover time reused" uses exact days and is a lower bound; "whole days" uses booked days and is an upper bound.
Part 2: credential check on a job date
| Person | Credential | Expiry | Days from job date | Status on job date |
|---|
Coverage of required credentials
| Required | Holders not expired | Who |
|---|
A credential counts as valid if its expiry date is on or after the job date. Your regulator or scheme may use a different rule, so check it. Nothing leaves your browser.
