The 1 and 1.7 hectares per MWp are the World Bank, ESMAP and SERIS handbook ratios (2019). They are planning values, not a site design. The 400 ha water body is invented. Leave it empty to skip the coverage line.
2. Cell temperature against the land default
Model: cell temperature = ambient + E × absorption × (1 − efficiency) ÷ (Uc + Uv × wind), the PVsyst-type form in pvlib. The sets are those printed in the pvlib 0.16.1 floating PV example, fitted at the sites named (NL Netherlands, SG Singapore, IT southern Italy, NO Norway). The set in contact with water uses the water temperature as ambient. All site inputs and the -0.35 %/°C coefficient are invented starting values; replace them. The land default is Uc 29 and Uv 0 (no wind term). The result is a model difference, not a measured yield gain. Type 2500 or 2,500; 2.5 and 2,5 are read as decimals.
