Open-source project health score
Enter what you read on a project's repository, release and docs pages. The score is a screening aid, not a verdict.
Our own rubric, not a standard. The preset projects A, B and C use invented inputs. Cut-offs of 90, 180 and 365 days, and bands at 40 and 70 points, are our choices.

Rules: commit and release age score 20 up to 90 days, 14 up to 180, 7 up to 365, then 0. Contributors score 20 for 5 or more, 12 for 2 to 4, 5 for 1. Docs score 5 per tick. Licence scores 10 for a file and 10 more if it is stated consistently. An archived repository is capped at 20. Bands: 70 or more, 40 to 69, under 40. Whole numbers only; 1,000 is read as one thousand.
