Defaults: DJI Mavic 3E wide camera as listed on a DJI developer forum page (sensor 17.3 x 13 mm, lens 12.3 mm, 5280 x 3956 pixels; no date printed; opened October 2026). Flight height, overlaps, site size and terrain rise are assumed example values. Design aid only: it assumes a flat-plane pinhole camera looking straight down.

The long image side is assumed to lie across the flight lines. Photo counts add one extra photo and line at the site edge so every point is covered by the planned overlap. Overlap figures below are the planned values before any rise in the ground.
