PTO delay cost calculator
Roughly what a wait for permission to operate costs: output not produced, plus interest on a final payment held back.
A design aid, not financial advice. Every starting value is an invented example, not a market figure. Replace each with your own. The system is assumed to stay off until PTO, at average output with seasonality ignored.

Method: lost output = kW x yield / 52 x value x weeks. Interest = held payment x rate / 52 x weeks (simple interest). It leaves out staff time, customer calls, seasonal output and any export credit. Numbers accept 1,100,000 or 0,20 style input. "1.000" is rejected as ambiguous.
