Site screening score calculator
Test one site against gates, then score it from 0 to 100 on five weighted criteria.
A design aid, not a site decision. The gates, scoring bounds and weights are invented placeholders from the glossary page. Replace them with your own. The eight example sites are invented.
Gates, scoring bounds and weights (invented placeholders)
Gates (fail removes the site)
Scoring bounds (worst value scores 0, best scores 100)
Weights (any positive numbers; the score divides by their sum)
| Result | Value |
|---|---|
| Gate: buildable area | - |
| Gate: mean slope | - |
| Gate: distance to substation | - |
| Gate: protected area | - |
| Score: grid distance (0 to 100) | - |
| Score: buildable area | - |
| Score: slope | - |
| Score: irradiance | - |
| Score: flood share | - |

Each criterion score is a straight line between its worst and best bounds, held between 0 and 100. A site that fails a gate still gets a score, so you can see what it would have scored.
