State of charge across one day
Enter one design day of hourly load and solar, then the battery settings. It steps the state of charge hour by hour.
How to enter the profiles. Give 24 numbers each, for the hours starting 00:00 to 23:00. Each value is the kWh in that hour, which equals the average kW. Separate values with spaces or new lines. Use one full stop or comma for decimals and no thousands separators (a value such as 1.000 or 1,000 is rejected as ambiguous). The percentage is of the nominal capacity you enter.

Method: hourly steps. Solar surplus charges the battery up to the ceiling, limited by power. Any load above solar is met from the battery down to the floor, limited by power; the rest is imported. No grid charging. The round trip is split equally between charge and discharge, so each way keeps the square root of the round-trip figure. State of charge is battery-side stored energy divided by nominal capacity. Illustrative; not a design, a warranty or a guarantee.
