Solar fleet monitoring software lets an installer watch many customers’ solar systems on one screen. It spots faults, such as a stopped inverter (the box that turns panel power into home power), before the customer calls. Enlighten / Enphase App and SOLARMAN Business tie for first on this list, at 66.5/100.
What is solar fleet monitoring software for installers?
This page looks at monitoring from the installer’s side. Think of a service desk with hundreds of home and C&I (commercial and industrial) systems. It needs to spot faults before the customer rings.
Our other guides cover the jobs next door:
- The whole market, from single plants to utility fleets: our solar monitoring software guide.
- The phone in the van: solar monitoring apps.
- Tools that cost nothing: free solar monitoring software.
- What each maker’s app shows: solar monitoring apps.
Your hardware drives the choice. If you fit one brand, that maker’s free portal usually gives the deepest view. Once you fit three or four brands, a tool that reads them all starts to pay.

How did we rank these fleet monitoring tools?
How the score is weighted
- Use-case fit 35%
- User reviews 20%
- Pricing 15%
- Ease of use 10%
- Support 10%
- Momentum 10%
We looked at 13 products, scored 11 and ranked the top 7 from 22 to 24 October 2026. Each ranked tool met our minimum fit score (4 out of 10). The other four are under "Also considered".
We used company docs, price pages, trade press and public reviews. This was desk research, so we linked no fleet to these tools. Each product is scored on six points.
- Use-case fit (35%): Proof of multi-site fleet monitoring counts most, then single-site depth, then alert-to-ticket tools.
- User reviews (20%): A few reviews count for less, and no reviews scores neutral, not zero.
- Pricing (15%): Published prices score higher than prices you have to ask for.
- Ease of use, support and momentum (10% each): Review sub-scores and dated updates, or neutral with no proof.
Scores belong to this page, so the same tool can score differently elsewhere.
Full method: how we score software. More tools sit on our monitoring and asset management hub.
What is the difference between single-brand portals and tools that read every brand?
- Maker portals (Enlighten, SolarEdge, Tigo EI): Free with the hardware and down to module level. But each one sees only its own kit.
- Logger-based tools (SOLARMAN, Solar-Log, VCOM): Built round the company’s own datalogger (a small device that collects data from the inverters). Check what that logger can read.
- Software-only tools (Solytic): Read many inverter and logger brands with no extra hardware.
1. Enlighten / Enphase App: best for installers who fit only Enphase
Best for: Installers whose fleet is all Enphase microinverters (small inverters on each panel) and batteries. Score: 66.5/100.
What it is: Enlighten is Enphase’s monitoring set. Owners use the Enphase App, and installers use the Installer Portal and Installer App. It ties for first place, but it sees only Enphase kit.
Why we picked it: Enphase gives registered installers a fleet dashboard, remote commissioning and per-panel data at no cost. It also has a large review base, with 93,000 App Store ratings.
Key features:
- Installer Fleet Management Dashboard with site filters (shown in Enphase’s July 2023 installer newsletter).
- Remote commissioning, CT (current transformer) checks and grid profile choice from the Installer Portal.
- Per-panel array view to find a failed microinverter.
- Installer Toolkit mobile app for commissioning.
- Owner power-flow screen for solar, battery and grid. Enphase calls it second by second, though some owners report a lag.
Pricing: Free with Enphase hardware. Enphase has no price page, and its app launch post lists no paid features. Registered installers get the Installer Portal at no cost. We could not confirm older third-party reports of paid tiers. Checked October 2026 on the Enphase app announcement.
Pros (from user reviews):
- Per-panel monitoring helps you find a failed module fast (owner forum).
- The layout is easy to learn, with help videos and 15-minute data (App Store reviews).
- You can check output against past weather and pull 12 months of raw data (SolarQuotes, December 2025).
Cons (from user reviews):
- The live view can lag about 15 minutes, and use figures can differ from the utility meter.
- Alerts often fail, and Enphase support sends owners back to the installer.
- The installer Toolkit app is reported to crash during commissioning (June 2026).
Reviews: App Store 4.6/5 (93,000 ratings) and Google Play 3.8/5 (28,700 ratings, via a third-party tracker), checked October 2026. Most of these come from homeowners.

2. SOLARMAN Business: best for hybrid-inverter fleets on SOLARMAN loggers
Best for: Installers and wholesalers on SOLARMAN dataloggers, common on Deye- and Sofar-family hybrid inverters (inverters that also manage batteries). Score: 66.5/100.
What it is: IGEN Tech, based in Wuxi, China, makes SOLARMAN Business as its installer portal and app. It pairs with the free SOLARMAN Smart app for end users. Installers, wholesalers and O&M firms use it to watch fleets built on SOLARMAN loggers. It ties for first place.
Why we picked it: It shows a fleet from plant groups down to single strings (rows of panels wired together). It also reads third-party inverters as well as its own loggers. It also ships dated updates, such as a July 2026 energy tool.
Key features:
- Fleet view from plant groups down to strings.
- Side-by-side checks of sites.
- One hub for SOLARMAN devices, third-party inverters and smart loads, with remote control.
- O&M alerts with likely causes and repair tips.
- Web portal plus an iOS and Android Business app.
Pricing: You have to ask the company for a price. No price is published for Business accounts. The end-user app is free with logger hardware. Checked October 2026 on the SOLARMAN site.
Pros (from reviews and our research):
- You can compare sites side by side, which an O&M firm quoted by SOLARMAN says it values.
- Reviewers like the depth of system data (App Store reviews).
- The product keeps moving, with dated releases such as an energy tool in July 2026.
Cons (from user reviews):
- Battery charge readings lag, so the data is not real-time.
- App updates have dropped some functions, such as a max-power command.
- Batteries and power flow often go missing until the plant type is set up again (PowerForum, 2022-2023).
Reviews: App Store 4.2/5 (6 ratings), checked October 2026. That is too few to rely on.

3. mySolarEdge / SolarEdge Monitoring Platform: best for SolarEdge-only installers
Best for: Installers who fit only SolarEdge inverters and optimisers (small devices on each panel), home or C&I. Score: 65.7/100.
What it is: SolarEdge runs a free set of monitoring tools for its own hardware. It covers the web Monitoring Platform, the SolarEdge GO installer app, the mySolarEdge owner app and SolarEdge ONE for C&I. The Android app was last updated on 6 October 2026. Note: we could not check SolarEdge’s own product page, so "free" comes from owner reports.
Why we picked it: SolarEdge installers get a fleet map, optimiser data and remote fault-finding free with the hardware. It has the biggest review base on this page.
Key features:
- Installer fleet map with multi-site uptime tracking in SolarEdge GO.
- Module-level (optimiser) output data.
- Alerts, error logs, and remote fault-finding and setup.
- Commissioning, optimiser pairing and commissioning reports in the GO app.
- SolarEdge ONE for C&I fleets, with live alerts and automated energy control.
Pricing: Free with SolarEdge hardware, based on owner reports and our earlier research. SolarEdge ONE for C&I has no published price. Checked October 2026 against SolarEdge’s SolarEdge ONE release.
Pros (from user reviews):
- Optimiser mapping makes a failed panel easy to find (owner forum).
- You can see inverter status when fault-finding. SolarQuotes ranked it the top Australian monitoring app (December 2025).
- Owners get real-time output and use, plus EV and smart-device control.
Cons (from user reviews):
- Users report failed logins and repeated logouts (Google Play reviews).
- Some app updates have broken panel-level and daily figures for a time.
- Support is rated poorly, and output data breaks with off-peak battery charging.
Reviews: App Store 4.6/5 (18,700 ratings) and Google Play 3.95/5 (194,018 ratings), both via third-party trackers, checked October 2026. Most of these come from homeowners.

4. Solytic: best for mixed-brand fleets on published per-site pricing
Best for: European installers with mixed inverter brands who want per-site prices up front. Score: 64.1/100.
What it is: Solytic is a Berlin-based monitoring tool that works with any maker’s kit. S.E.E. (PV Secure) has owned it since October 2024. It sells only to firms such as installers, O&M firms and utilities.
Why we picked it: It reads 40+ inverter makers with no extra hardware. It is the only brand-agnostic tool in our top 7 with public prices. That makes a mixed fleet easy to budget for.
Key features:
- Works with 40+ makers and 150+ data protocols, with no extra hardware.
- Real-time alerts you can set up, with root-cause data.
- Automated tickets and task notes.
- Automated, templated reports for clients and owners.
- White-label portal (it shows your brand) on your own domain, email, logo and colours.
Pricing: Sites up to 200 kWp cost EUR 5 per site per month, plus a one-off EUR 60 setup per site. Sites over 200 kWp cost EUR 0.02 per kWp per month, plus EUR 0.50 per kWp setup. White label costs EUR 500 per month on a one-year minimum, with 50% off software fees for sites up to 200 kWp. The GraphQL API (a data feed for other software) is on request, and volume discounts apply. Checked October 2026 on the Solytic pricing page.
Pros (from our research):
- You can budget up front, because prices per site and per kWp are public.
- One login covers 40+ hardware brands, so you stop juggling maker portals.
- You can sell the portal under your own brand at a known price.
Cons (from our research):
- Setup fees (EUR 60 per small site) add up when you bring an old fleet across.
- White label ties you to EUR 500 a month for at least a year.
- There are no user reviews to judge it by, and the latest product update post we found is from February 2021.
Reviews: No user reviews on G2 or Capterra as of October 2026.
What we could not confirm: a mobile app.

5. VCOM Cloud: best for C&I fleets that need alarms to become tickets
Best for: Installers who run C&I O&M contracts. Score: 64.0/100.
What it is: VCOM Cloud comes from meteocontrol, based in Augsburg, Germany. It joins fleet monitoring with a ticket system, an add-on CMMS (maintenance management system) and an offline field app. It works with meteocontrol’s blue’Log dataloggers.
Why we picked it: It is the only tool in our top 7 that runs an alarm through to a ticket. It then carries on to a work order and a field app. That suits installers who sell O&M on C&I sites.
Key features:
- Ticket system that raises tickets by itself from alarms and set rules.
- CMMS module with digital work orders given to teams or techs.
- Offline O&M app with forms, photos, check-in and time tracking.
- Custom form and report templates.
- VCOM API.
Pricing: You have to ask the company for a price, and CMMS is a licensed module. Demo only. Checked October 2026 on the VCOM O&M app page.
Pros (from our research):
- Alarms can open tickets by rule, so faults do not sit unseen. The help centre sets out how.
- The field app works offline, which helps on sites with poor signal.
- It is proven at scale, with 50,000 systems and about 18 GWp tracked (company figure, December 2020).
Cons (from our research):
- You have to ask the company for a price, and the CMMS costs extra as a licensed module.
- There is a demo but no free trial.
- There are no user reviews to judge it by.
Reviews: No user reviews on G2 or Capterra as of October 2026.
What we could not confirm: which other loggers or inverter clouds it reads direct, and any dated release notes.

6. Solar-Log WEB Enerest 4: best for European installers already on Solar-Log loggers
Best for: European installers with Solar-Log Base loggers on site. Score: 62.5/100.
What it is: German logger maker Solar-Log sells WEB Enerest 4 as a paid fleet portal. It reads Solar-Log loggers, plus Huawei SmartLogger and meteocontrol blue’Log via FTP or MQTT (common ways to send data). Most users are European installers, O&M firms and plant owners.
Why we picked it: It scored well on fit, with string-level checks, user rights per plant and alarms that become tasks. A 30-day free licence lets you test it on your own loggers first.
Key features:
- Plant, fleet and user control, with rights per user group, plant or fleet.
- No limit on monitoring rules, with drop-off checks down to MPP (maximum power point) tracker and string.
- Alarms turned into tasks per plant.
- Balance, yield and KPI (key performance figures) reports by PDF or email.
- Custom portal colours and logo, plus a developer API.
Pricing: Licence fees apply but are not published. Solar-Log sells licences in its online shop, which we could not reach. The portal is free for 30 days after hardware goes in, and the Enerest ToGo app is free. Checked October 2026 against the WEB Enerest 4 datasheet.
Pros (from our research):
- It catches drop-offs down to string level, so you find a weak string fast.
- Customers see a portal in your colours, and you control who sees which plant.
- It also reads Huawei and meteocontrol loggers, so mixed logger fleets can share one portal.
Cons (from our research):
- Licence prices are not published, so you must ask before you can budget.
- It only reads supported loggers, so a site without one needs new hardware.
- It had an outage in October 2026. Solar-Log took its online services down on 21 October to fix a serious PHP security flaw, and WEB Enerest was back on 22 October.
Reviews: No user reviews found as of October 2026. The Enerest ToGo app has too few App Store ratings to show.

7. Tigo EI: best for installers who fit Tigo optimisers
Best for: Small and mid-sized installers using Tigo TS4 MLPE (module-level power electronics). Score: 62.3/100.
What it is: Tigo Energy built EI to monitor and commission systems with its own hardware. You need Tigo kit on site. Once it is there, EI also reads 20,000+ types of third-party inverter, meter and battery.
Why we picked it: Tigo publishes a price for every tier, and the free Basic tier already includes a multi-site view. Professional adds a portfolio dashboard with unlimited seats.
Key features:
- Professional tier: multi-site dashboard, fleet metrics, site comparisons, tags and filters.
- Commissioning tracking and kit health history.
- Bluetooth commissioning with bulk TS4 scanning.
- Alerts you can set up, with daily and monthly reports.
- Virtual layout builder.
Pricing: EI Basic is free for the life of the Tigo hardware and includes a multi-site view. EI Premium costs USD 20 per site per year for up to 35 modules, then USD 0.56 per module. It adds 1-minute data and API access. EI Professional costs USD 199 per company per year, with unlimited seats and the portfolio dashboard (Premium not included). USD is implied, as the page shows only a dollar sign. Checked October 2026 on the Tigo EI pricing page.
Pros (from user reviews):
- Owners can see output by hour, day and month (App Store reviews).
- Module-level data helped one user confirm a gain of over 30%.
- One reviewer found it reliable enough to recommend.
Cons (from user reviews):
- Some screens are hard to follow, with no "last updated" time stamp.
- An owner could not fix the site location set by the installer.
- It shows no household use next to output.
Reviews: App Store 4.0/5 (127 ratings), checked October 2026. The reviews come from homeowners and DIY users, and several date from 2020-2022.

Also considered
- 3E SynaptiQ (scored 62.1/100): Brussels-based 3E’s tool reads any brand and splits losses into 21 types, 13 of them fixable. It missed the top 7 because you have to ask for its price. It has no user reviews, and it is built for C&I and utility asset managers more than installers.
- Sunvoy (scored 57.5/100): A white-label customer app for home installers, from USD 95 per new system plus a one-off USD 5,000 setup. Its fleet tools are lighter than true monitoring tools, and it has only two public reviews.
- Solar Analytics (scored 56.3/100): An Australian fault-finding plan at AUD 6 per inverter per month, with a 30-day free trial. It sells to Australia only, and we could not confirm an installer fleet dashboard. Users also report slow support.
- PowerTrack (scored 56.0/100): AlsoEnergy’s brand-agnostic C&I tool turns alerts into work orders. It ranks low on weak app ratings (App Store 3.1/5 from 42 ratings, October 2026) and prices on request, not on fleet features.
- Omnidian Performance Assurance: An outsourced service, not software, so it is not ranked. It covers any shortfall below 95% of forecast yearly output. Trustpilot shows 2.0/5 from 11 homeowner reviews (October 2026).
- Solar Insure: A US warranty plan for certified installers, backed by Zurich North America. Its Daybreak portal handles fleet alerts and paid service claims. Daybreak comes with the warranty, not as standalone software, so it is not ranked.
- Utility-scale SCADA platforms: Plant control and data systems do a different job. See our solar SCADA software guide.
How do you choose solar fleet monitoring software?
- If almost all your installs are one brand, start with that maker’s free portal. That means Enlighten for Enphase, SolarEdge’s platform for SolarEdge and Tigo EI for Tigo.
- If your fleet is mixed and you want a price you can plan around, pick Solytic. At list prices, each small site costs EUR 5 a month plus a one-off EUR 60 to set up, before volume discounts.
- If your systems already report through SOLARMAN, Solar-Log or meteocontrol loggers, start with that company’s tool.
- Do you sell O&M contracts on C&I systems and need tickets and work orders? Start with VCOM Cloud. PowerTrack, under "Also considered", is the other one to check. Then compare both with our O&M software guide.
- If you run your own C&I rooftops, look at 3E SynaptiQ (also considered) for its loss breakdown.

Solar fleet monitoring software FAQs
How do installers monitor systems with different inverter brands in one dashboard?
Use a tool that reads every brand. As of October 2026, Solytic lists 40+ supported makers and 150+ data protocols. 3E SynaptiQ and PowerTrack, both also considered, call themselves hardware-agnostic. Maker portals such as Enlighten and SolarEdge show only their own kit.
What is hardware-agnostic (works with any brand) solar monitoring?
It is monitoring software that reads many makers’ inverters and loggers with no hardware of its own on site. You get one login for every site, and history stays put if you change inverter supplier. SOLARMAN and Solar-Log, by contrast, centre on their own dataloggers.
How much does solar fleet monitoring software cost per site?
Enphase, SolarEdge and Tigo Basic are free with the hardware. Solytic charges EUR 5 per site per month up to 200 kWp. Tigo EI Premium costs USD 20 per site per year, and Solar Analytics AUD 6 per inverter per month (October 2026). Others need a price request.
Can fleet monitoring software create service tickets automatically from alerts?
Some can. As of October 2026, Solytic lists automated tickets, and VCOM Cloud raises tickets from alarms and links them to work orders. Solar-Log turns alarms into tasks. Free maker portals send alerts but list no ticket tools.
Can installers white-label a monitoring portal for customers?
Yes, with a few tools. As of October 2026, Solytic sells a white-label licence for EUR 500 per month. Sunvoy, also considered, is a white-label customer app. Solar-Log lets you set portal colours and logo, while maker portals carry the maker’s brand.
